Something cool to share

I have not been active in trying to get published.  I love seeing layouts and I am a huge fan of real, print magazines, but it has not been something that I have sought out for myself.  I was asked to create a page for a new series in Scrapbooking & Beyond Magazine called Mix It Up.  It is a fun series that has a mixed media spin.  My first page for this is in the current issue, but now that it is out, I can share it here!

I really tried to make it very teen.  And the technique I used to create the plaid is in the magazine.  

So I feel so cool. I have this published layout!  Woo hoo!  It was really awesome to see it in print.  :-)
